Prepare yourselves accordingly because Boxi Park Lake Nona’s official preview weekend is upon us.

Boxi Park is Central Florida’s first outdoor entertainment venue constructed out of repurposed shipping containers.

The venue is designed to offer the ultimate choose-your-food, -beverage and -entertainment experience. As soon as you step inside the entry towers, you’ll access a curated variety of food, drinks and activities.

The first food option we spotted, Claw & Order, serves lobster-based creations on a brioche roll. Bonus points for the soft shell crab, rock shrimp and lobster & hollandaise waffle fries on the menu.

If crispy buttermilk fried chicken is your jam, Fowl Play will be on repeat. Scope out a sneak peek of the menu below, but you’ll want to save room for the rest of what Boxi Park has to offer.

Getting thirsty? We thought so. Hops & Vine, a beer and wine garden, is strategically located nearby so you can sip on beer and wine in a setting surrounded by Instagram-worthy market lights. On tap: hyper-local craft beer from Park Pizza & Brewing Co. and wines by the glass from Tavistock Reserve Collection.

Whenever you’re ready for a bathroom break, Boxi Park has VIP restroom facilities on-site including family restrooms and changing tables.

Check out the dual professional sand volleyball courts surrounded by palm trees and sunshine. The courts are open to the public and the setup is poised for league play.

The athletic endeavors will likely fire up your appetite. Luckily, the Grill Next Door and Cañonita are a few steps away. Street tacos and ceviche are served at the taqueria, and burgers and vegetarian options are on the grill.

Craving something sweet? Before It Melts is stocked with soft-serve ice cream and specialty ice cream sundaes. Tap into that sugar rush to chase down your dogs within the fenced dog park, “Barxi Park.”

Round up the kids to burn off some energy at the designated playground area.

The choose-your-experience continues with La Cajita serving margaritas on tap. Cheers to choosing from four margarita options made fresh daily.

Expect Bar Nona’s full bar and proximity to a live stage to draw you in. Live entertainment will be featured each day, and a massive LED screen (30′ by 9′) is set up to screen movies, sports and family entertainment. Plenty of seating and yard games will keep you rested or occupied.
