Lake Nona-based Beep has closed a $20 million Series B round led by Mobileye, according to the Orlando Business Journal, which reports that the funding will help expand the company’s autonomous vehicle deployments across 10 states, including Florida. With participation from existing investors, the round brings Beep’s total capital raised to about $130 million, according to the company’s announcement. The money will support Beep’s mobility-as-a-service offerings, its work with technology and public-sector partners and the rollout of AutonomOS, its AI-driven platform for managing autonomous transportation networks. “This strategic investment round, led by Mobileye and supported by our longstanding investor partners, positions Beep to deliver fully on its vision,” said Kevin Reid, Beep’s CEO and chairman. Mobileye Chief Operations Officer Kobi Ohayon said Beep “plays an essential role in the emerging AV ecosystem across the United States.”
