Lake Nona offers fun for the whole family indoors, outdoors or on the water.
With Lake Nona’s incredible year-round weather, there are so many options to enjoy spending time outside. And especially during those hot summer months, we’ve got what you need to stay cool all season long.
01. Ride the Wakes at Nona Adventure Park
Nona Adventure Park has fun and adventure like no other. The park features activities on land and lake for all ages and skill levels with a floating obstacle course, water sports cable park and more. After a day of adventure on the lake, enjoy a smoothie at Splashes Bistro, Nona Adventure Park’s on-site restaurant. Pro-tip: stay for dinner and enjoy sunset views on the relaxing outdoor patio.
02. Dive Into Laureate Park Aquatic Center
If you’re a Laureate Park resident, grab the kids, their swimsuits and towels and splash away the day at the Laureate Park Aquatic Center, which recently grew by 17,000 square feet.
There’s a new 6,500-square-foot pavilion for picnicking, a five-lane lap pool for your little Michael Phelps to practice his butterfly, and a splash pool for little squirts to play with water cannons and 25-foot-tall dumping bucket. On land, the half-court basketball and beach volleyball courts are perfect for some fun in the sun.
03. Take a Dip at Lake Nona Performance Club
Build endurance, muscular strength, and cardiovascular fitness while taking some of the impact stress off your body. The indoor aquatics center at Lake Nona Performance Club has four different pools to serve all fitness levels and age groups through methods of injury rehabilitation, swim instruction, water safety classes and much more. The Aquatics Center also offers water safety classes and swim lessons for all ages. *Membership is required to use the facilities at Lake Nona Performance Club.
04. Staycation at the Lake Nona Wave Hotel
Come for the hotel, stay for the pool. Take a staycation at Lake Nona Wave Hotel where each guest has an experience elevated by technology yet grounded in wellbeing. While poolside, delight in freshly prepared salads and flavorful dishes accompanied by frozen beverages and signature cocktails as you sit back, relax and delight in Florida’s most colorful pool scene.
