Foxtail Coffee Co.’s newest café brings a signature collection of responsibly sourced and locally roasted craft coffee to Lake Nona. The coffee connoisseur specializes in roasting the freshest coffee from all over the world using state-of-the-art coffee roasting equipment.

Q&A: Meet your Foxtail Coffee Co. Barista 1

Located on the ground floor of Pixon Apartments, the 1,300 square-foot café welcomes you with a vibrant space.

Behind the counter, you’ll find master barista and operations manager Reed Stillson and his team serving coffee and food made fresh every day.

In this Q&A, Reed shares his favorite things to order and more.

Q: What is your role at Foxtail in Lake Nona?
A: I am an Operations Manager overseeing the day-to-day success of three of our shops: University Blvd., Hourglass District and now Lake Nona!

Q: What is your favorite Foxtail brew?
A: If I want iced coffee, I have to go with the Vanilla Caramel Cold Brew. It’s a smooth Nitro Cold Brew with just the right amount of sweetness for the warm Florida summers! But if I want something hot, I have to recommend a French Press of our Guatemala roast.

Q: What is your go-to Foxtail order?
A: I have a bit of a sweet tooth, so I like to go with a Café Con Leche. It’s lightly sweetened over condensed milk, adding an extra layer to what would otherwise be a classic Café Latte.

Q: How will Foxtail Lake Nona be different from other locations?
A: We’re happy to share a beautiful common space with Pixon Apartments. It’s a gorgeous open area with plenty of space to play games, catch up with friends or just relax and get some work done.

Q: Is Foxtail Lake Nona pet friendly?
A: We’re absolutely pet friendly! We offer Pup Cups (small cups of whipped cream) to any and all of our furry friends who stop by.
