AdventHealth’s Lake Nona hospital nears completion, set to address physician shortage

AdventHealth’s new Lake Nona hospital is nearing completion, marking another major milestone in the community’s evolution as a leading healthcare and life sciences destination. Scheduled to open in November, the $423 million, 10-story hospital will launch with 80 beds, more than 600 physicians and clinicians, and a full range of specialty services, helping address the area’s growing shortage of primary care physicians and specialists. As Lake Nona and surrounding communities continue to experience rapid population growth, the new campus will expand access to high-quality care while supporting the region’s long-term vision as a hub for health, wellness, and medical innovation.
