Massey Cadillac of South Orlando has opened Lake Nona’s first car dealership, according to the Orlando Business Journal, which reports that Sonic Automotive moved the dealership from South Orange Blossom Trail to a new 34,000-square-foot facility at 2698 J Lawson Blvd. with 17 service bays and an expanded showroom. “We’ve been serving the Orlando community since 2002, and are proud to bring the Massey Cadillac of South Orlando experience to a new home in Lake Nona,” said David B. Smith, chairman and CEO of Sonic Automotive. Together with its North Orlando location, the company says it now has the largest Cadillac inventory in Central Florida. The article ties the opening to growth in southeast Orlando, which the city projects will add 97,884 residents between 2024 and 2050. Broker Brad Parker of Southern Realty Enterprises said “it was a wise move” and noted that the location could draw customers from Osceola County, Florida’s East Coast and Tavistock’s Sunbridge community.
