Beach volleyball, anyone? Any takers should check out Boxi Park, aka Central Florida’s very first outdoor recreational park constructed from repurposed shipping containers. In addition to beach volleyball courts, Boxi Park boasts 5 distinct food-truck-style restaurants to refuel after your workout. Plus, bring along the pooch for a visit to the dog park, or the kiddos so they can take their turn on the playground.

Come to a Pilates Party

Across the way from Boxi Park, you’ll find Club Pilates on the first floor of Pixon. At this fully equipped boutique fitness studio, you can try out the classic low-impact workout known as Pilates, in whatever class format best suits your goals. Roll on over to ROX: Orlando Rock Climbing Gym at Lake Nona Performance Club. This 7500-square-foot temple to the art of climbing is home to the tallest rock wall in the Orlando area at a staggering 43 feet. If you choose to ascend the heights, you’ll have your pick of traditional top-rope or state-of-the-art auto belay systems. Heights make you nervous?! There’s a dedicated bouldering area, too. 

Fit Mind, Fit Body

Unique to Lake Nona is the Chopra Mind-Body Zone, conveniently located right in the Lake Nona Performance Club. Unlike any typical yoga or Pilates studio, this space marks the first partnership between a medically integrated fitness facility (the Lake Nona Performance Club) and the renowned wellness guru Deepak Chopra.
