What makes a community feel like home?
Location matters, and Lake Nona delivers. With direct access to Orlando International Airport, top health and education institutions, and everything Central Florida has to offer just minutes away—it’s an ideal place to settle in.
But for families, it goes deeper than convenience. It’s about living in a community designed to support how people grow, connect and thrive.
In Lake Nona, education is part of everyday life. From highly rated schools and world-class universities to neighborhood parks and community events, families find learning opportunities everywhere.
This fall, Lake Nona welcomes two major additions: Luminary Elementary School and the UCF College of Nursing’s Dr. Phillips Nursing Pavilion. Together, they reflect Lake Nona’s commitment to lifelong learning and smart community growth.
Where First Steps Become Big Leaps:
Lake Nona Welcomes Luminary Elementary School
Opening August 2025, Luminary Elementary School will meet growing demand for next-generation learning in the region. Designed for up to 800 students, the new campus is part of Orange County Public Schools, one of the fastest-growing districts in Florida.
With experiential programs in music, art and gifted education, Luminary gives young learners space to discover new interests and grow them into lifelong passions.
It joins an A-rated lineup of local elementary schools, including NorthLake Park Community School (K–5), Laureate Park Elementary and Village Park Elementary.
Building a Real World Laboratory:
Also expanding Lake Nona’s education footprint is the new Dr. Phillips Nursing Pavilion, a next-generation facility from the University of Central Florida. The pavilion will support UCF’s nationally ranked nursing program and connect students directly with career opportunities in the region.
Set to open Fall of 2025, this addition is part of a broader effort to build a local pipeline of talent in science, health and technology fields, supported by strong partnerships between UCF, Tavistock Development Co. and healthcare leaders across Central Florida.
