Lake Nona’s front-page feature in The Wall Street Journal’s real estate section

Lake Nona was prominently featured in a front-page article in The Wall Street Journal’s real estate section, Mansion.

The article entitled, “Nirvana: There’s an Amenity for That,” focused on prime examples of wellness real estate throughout the United States. As one of only a few communities highlighted, Lake Nona’s many wellbeing initiatives and programs were touted, including Yoga Nona, which offers free weekly yoga in Crescent Park.

The Journal also highlighted Lake Nona’s community guided meditation event that was led by Deepak Chopra last year.

The innovative and impactful Lake Nona Life Project initiative, which tracks health and wellness, was also featured.

Two Lake Nona homes, one in Laureate Park and the other in Lake Nona Golf & Country Club, were included as examples of wellbeing real estate. Each Lake Nona home was customized with unique features to promote wellbeing.

The Foote family in Laureate Park repurposed their sunroom for a meditation space. In addition, Natalia is a yoga instructor for the weekly classes offered for Laureate Park residents.

The Merle family customized their Lake Nona Golf & Country Club residence to include a peaceful meditation garden with a reflecting pool.

The national coverage affirms recent recognition published by the Global Wellness Institute citing Lake Nona as, “the most sophisticated example in the world of what master planning for wellness can accomplish.”
