Colette Miller launched the Global Angel Wings Project in 2012 in the streets of Los Angeles — the City of Angels. She began painting human-sized wings to remind humanity that we are the angels of this earth. Miller’s intention is that viewers become part of the art experience by taking photos with the wings behind them.
The first pair was just street art, but the response was natural, immediate, and spontaneous from people of all backgrounds. Colette has painted wings in Kenya, Australia, England, Japan, Taiwan, France, Cuba; Juarez, Mexico and elsewhere, including Lake Nona.
